DUPIXENT Is a Specialty Drug

DUPIXENT is a specialty drug, often ordered differently than a traditional drug, and may have specific requirements after your doctor prescribes it.

  • Your insurance provider may require that you order DUPIXENT, along with other injectable medications, through a specialty pharmacy in-network with your plan. Specialty pharmacies focus on handling medications that require special handling, storage and shipping—like DUPIXENT. Instead of going to your local pharmacy, DUPIXENT is shipped directly to your home or to your preferred location.
  • DUPIXENT may also require prior authorization, meaning your doctor may have to provide extra information to your insurance provider. This may delay the time it takes for you to get DUPIXENT compared to a traditional prescription.
Watch a video for information on how to use and dispose of DUPIXENT.

Your healthcare provider will tell you how to take DUPIXENT, including whether you can inject it yourself. Do not try to inject DUPIXENT until you have been shown the right way by your healthcare provider.
