DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used as an add-on maintenance treatment in adults and children 6 years of age and older who have moderate-to-severe eosinophilic or oral steroid dependent asthma that is not controlled with their current asthma medicines. DUPIXENT is not used to treat sudden breathing problems and will not replace an inhaled rescue medicine.
Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition that affects the airways in the lungs. The airways narrow and can become inflamed, making it harder to breathe properly. This can result in symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and cough.
People with asthma often show signs of inflammation in the airways. This may be accompanied with too many eosinophils in the airways.

Answering yes to even 1 question in the RULE OF 2 means your asthma may not be well
controlled, and it might be time to explore different treatment options.
DO YOU...
Use a rescue inhaler more
than 2X per week?
Use oral steroids 2X or more a year
Have had an asthma attack
2X a year
Wake up at night 2 (or more)
times a month due to asthma?
Most research suggests that asthma attacks
may be caused by excess inflammation in
the airways. DUPIXENT may be an option to
treat uncontrolled moderate-to-severe
asthma, as long as there is evidence for
inflammation called ‘eosinophilic’ present
or you have oral steroid–dependent asthma.
