DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used:

  • To treat uncontrolled moderate-to-severe eczema (atopic dermatitis or AD) (ages 6+ months)
  • As an add-on maintenance treatment for uncontrolled moderate-to-severe eosinophilic or oral steroid–dependent asthma (ages 6+ years)
    • DUPIXENT is not used to treat sudden breathing problems
  • As an add-on maintenance treatment for uncontrolled chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis (CRSwNP) (ages 18+ years)
  • To treat adults and pediatric patients 1 year and older who weigh at least 33 lb (15 kg) with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE)
  • To treat adults with prurigo nodularis (PN)

Getting DUPIXENT
Delivered to You

Most eligible patients will receive DUPIXENT from a specialty pharmacy, which is different from a
regular retail pharmacy. DUPIXENT MyWay can provide appropriate support for enrolled patients.

DUPIXENT Is Prescribed

Your doctor completes the enrollment form and sends to:

  • DUPIXENT MyWay
    and/or
  • The specialty pharmacy
  • Your insurance provider

Benefit Authorization

After the insurance claim process is initiated,

  • DUPIXENT is approved
    or
  • Additional medical information is

    Your prescription may have to be authorized. This is called prior authorization. Your insurance company
    will work with your doctor to get

HOW THE SPECIALTY PHARMACY
WORKS WITH DUPIXENT

  • Your DUPIXENT prescription will most likely come from a specialty pharmacy.
  • Specialty pharmacies dispense medications like DUPIXENT that require careful handling.
  • The specialty pharmacy will contact you for updates on insurance approval and copay information.
    • If you’re eligible for the DUPIXENT MyWay Copay Card, be sure to tell the specialty pharmacy.
  • Your doctor or DUPIXENT MyWay can tell you which specialty pharmacy will be contacting you to schedule deliveries to your home or designated location.
  • It’s important that you answer all phone calls from your specialty pharmacy.
  • You cannot receive your prescription until you speak with your specialty pharmacy to schedule shipments.

information in your phone's contacts.

What is dupixent?

DUPIXENT is a biologic that works by targeting an underlying source of inflammation that could be a root cause of your condition. DUPIXENT was shown to be effective in clinical trials across 5 indications.

DUPIXENT is a biologic that:

  • Is not an immunosuppressant
  • Does not require initial or routine lab work (ie, blood work), according to the Prescribing Information
  • Is not a steroid

DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 6 months of age and older with moderate-to-severe eczema (atopic dermatitis or AD) that is not well controlled with prescription therapies used on the skin (topical), or who cannot use topical therapies. DUPIXENT can be used with or without topical corticosteroids. It is not known if DUPIXENT is safe and effective in children with atopic dermatitis under 6 months of age.

Teens who weighed 132 lb or more received DUPIXENT 300 mg every 2 weeks after an initial dose of 600 mg (two 300-mg
injections). Teens who weighed under 132 lb received DUPIXENT 200 mg every 2 weeks after an initial loading dose of 400 mg,
(two 200-mg injections). Individual results may vary.

At 16 weeks, among teens (ages 12-17) taking DUPIXENT vs those not on DUPIXENT:

24% saw clear or almost clear skin vs 2% not on DUPIXENT.

DU MORE WITH LESS ASTHMA

DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used with other asthma medicines for the maintenance treatment of moderate-to-severe eosinophilic or oral steroid–dependent asthma in adults and children 6 years of age and older whose asthma is not controlled with their current asthma medicines. DUPIXENT helps prevent severe asthma attacks (exacerbations) and can improve your breathing. DUPIXENT may also help reduce the amount of oral corticosteroids you need. DUPIXENT is not used to treat sudden breathing problems. It is not known if DUPIXENT is safe and effective in children with asthma under 6 years of age.


BENEFITS IN AS LITTLE AS 2 WEEKS

In clinical studies, DUPIXENT significantly improved lung function and helped prevent severe asthma attacks.

  • Dupixent can improve lung function so you can breathe better in as little as 2 weeks
  • Dupixent can help prevent severe asthma attacks
  • Dupixent can reduce or completely eliminate oral steroid use in patients ages 12+, and can reduce steroid bursts
    in patients ages 6-11
  • Don't change or stop your asthma treatments, including steroids, without talking to your doctor
  • The benefits and risks of DUPIXENT were evaluated in 3 clinical studies with 2,888 patients ages 12 years and up. It was also evaluated in a clinical study with 408 patients ages 6-11 years.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

The most common side effects in patients with asthma include injection site reactions, high count of a certain white blood cell (eosinophilia), pain in the throat (oropharyngeal pain), and parasitic (helminth) infections.

DU MORE WITH LESS NASAL POLYPS

DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used with other medicines for the maintenance treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis (CRSwNP) in adults whose disease is not controlled. It is not known if DUPIXENT is safe and effective in children with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis under 18 years of age.


WELCOME BACK TO BETTER BREATHING

  • 3 out of 4 patients saw a reduction in steroid use

In clinical studies of oral or injected steroid use with DUPIXENT 300 mg + standard of care (SOC) vs placebo group + SOC.

Do not change or stop taking your corticosteroid medicines unless instructed by your healthcare provider. This may cause other symptoms
that were controlled by the corticosteroid medicine to come back.


COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

The most common side effects in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis include injection site reactions, eye and eyelid inflammation (including redness, swelling, and itching, sometimes with blurred vision), high count of a certain white blood cell (eosinophilia), gastritis, joint pain (arthralgia), trouble sleeping (insomnia), and toothache.

The First Biologic Approved for the Treatment of EoE

DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 1 year of age and older with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), who weigh at least 33 pounds (15 kg). It is not known if DUPIXENT is safe and effective in children with eosinophilic esophagitis under 1 year of age, or who weigh less than 33 pounds (15 kg).

The most common side effects in patients with eosinophilic esophagitis include injection site reactions, upper respiratory tract infections, cold sores in your mouth or on your lips, and joint pain (arthralgia).

THE FIRST AND ONLY FDA-APPROVED TREATMENT FOR PN

DUPIXENT is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with PN. It is not known if DUPIXENT is safe and effective in
children with PN under 18 years of age.


RESULTS YOU CAN SEE AND FEEL

DUPIXENT was studied in 2 clinical trials with 311 adults with PN.

  • ~3x as many adults had less itch at 24 weeks (59% on DUPIXENT vs 19% not on DUPIXENT).
    • In one study, some adults had less itch in as little as 12 weeks (37% on DUPIXENT vs 22% not on DUPIXENT).
  • ~3x as many adults had skin clear or almost clear of PN bumps at 24 weeks (46% on DUPIXENT vs 17% not on DUPIXENT).

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

The most common side effects in patients with prurigo nodularis include eye and eyelid inflammation (including redness, swelling, and itching, sometimes with blurred vision), herpes virus infections, common cold symptoms (nasopharyngitis), dizziness, muscle pain, and diarrhea.

With the DUPIXENT MyWay Copay Card, eligible, commercially insured patients may pay as little as $0* copay per fill of DUPIXENT. Eligible patients will receive their cards by email. Program has an annual maximum of $13,000.

  • Have commercial insurance, including health insurance exchanges, federal employee plans, or state employee plans
  • Are a resident of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the USVI
  • Are prescribed DUPIXENT for an indication approved by the US Food and Drug Administration

Support may be available through the DUPIXENT MyWay Patient Assistance Program for qualified Medicare Part D patients, uninsured patients, and functionally uninsured patients.

And if you experience a loss of coverage or change in commercial coverage during treatment, DUPIXENT MyWay is also available to discuss other assistance options with you.

While your health insurance benefits are being confirmed, you will receive a call from your Case Manager. Your Case Manager may reach out to you from time to time or you can reach out to them for:

  • Supplemental injection training (in addition to training from your doctor)

Remember: Your doctor is the single best source of information regarding your health. Please consult your doctor if you have any questions about your health or treatment.

Use DUPIXENT exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. It’s an injection given under the skin (subcutaneous injection). Your healthcare provider will decide if you or your caregiver can inject DUPIXENT. Do not try to prepare and inject DUPIXENT until you or your caregiver have been trained by your healthcare provider. In children 12 years of age and older, it’s recommended DUPIXENT be administered by or under supervision of an adult. In children 6 months to less than 12 years of age, DUPIXENT should be given by a caregiver.

SUPPLEMENTAL INJECTION TRAINING AND SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT

Once you’re approved to receive DUPIXENT, you can receive a DUPIXENT Injection Training Kit from your healthcare provider or you can request one from DUPIXENT MyWay ®.

  • Read the Instructions for Use
  • If you need additional injection support after you receive training from your doctor, your DUPIXENT MyWay Nurse Educator is here to help and can provide supplemental injection training in person, virtually, or by phone
  • Familiarize yourself with directions for prepping the pre-filled syringe or pre-filled pen, preparing the injection site, storage, and proper disposal. (All of this will come with your DUPIXENT medication or can be found in the Injection Support Center.) The pre-filled pen is approved for patients 2 years of age and older.
